Changing from part-time to full-time or full-time to part-time?
See how it affects your benefitsWhen you change from part-time to full-time status or from full-time to part-time status, you’ll have different Michaels benefit options.
If You Are Moving from Part-Time to Full-Time
You may end any part-time coverage. Any new full-time coverage you elect will begin immediately as long as you have completed 30 days of employment and enroll in full-time benefits through Workday within 30 days of the status change.
If you enroll dependents in Michaels full-time medical and/or dental coverage, our third-party vendor, Consova, will mail information to your home address about verifying eligibility. Learn more. Remember, coverage for new dependents may be delayed until you complete the dependent verification process.
If You Are Moving from Full-Time to Part-Time
Any full-time medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D, disability, critical illness and accident benefits will end the 1st of the month following the status change. You can enroll for health, life, auto and home coverage through Michaels Part-Time Benefits.
