Tuition Assistance
Michaels offers tuition assistance to help you pay a portion of the cost of your college tuition, or language programs for professional and personal development. Most Team Members are eligible to receive up to $2,000 per year in tuition assistance.
To determine whether you meet the eligibility requirements, please refer to the criteria outlined in the Tuition Reimbursement Policy. To apply for tuition assistance, you must complete the necessary form and obtain written approval from your Supervisor.

Colorado Technical University
Michaels Team Members and immediate family members are eligible to receive a 15% tuition discount at Colorado Technical University (CTU).
CTU offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate degree programs. For more information, visit the CTU website or call 1-866-897-1560.
University of Phoenix
Michaels Team Members are eligible for a 15% discount for on-campus or online classes at the University of Phoenix. Tuition is waived for every sixth course for Team Members that enroll in a degree, certificate, or single credit bearing course and complete 5 courses. The $99 fee for a Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) is also waived. The PLA can help you save money and graduate faster by having on-the-job training, workplace certifications, military service, and experiences evaluated for college credit.

University of Dallas
The University of Dallas offers Michaels Team Members a special tuition rate of $1,000 per credit hour (about a 20% scholarship) for the Satish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business. The college is accredited by the AACSB and offers several graduate business degrees and certificates online or at the Irving, TX campus.

Western Governors University
Western Governors University (WGU) offers Michaels Team Members in all US states a 5% tuition discount for up to four terms, as well as the ability to apply for the Institutional Partners Fund Scholarship, valued at up to $2,000. Current students can also receive the discount on next and subsequent terms.
WGU offers online accredited degree programs in business, information technology, teacher education, and health professions, including nursing.
